Our busy practice consists of four chartered physiotherapists, all of whom specialise in manual therapy and “hands on” treatment/manipulation as well as exercise prescription. All our physiotherapists have been qualified for many years and have extensive experience in treating all musculoskeletal conditions.
Our team of physiotherapists all with individual specialist skills provides a comprehensive team approach.
We are very much a “hands on” practice using manual skills of manipulation and mobilisations amongst other techniques to ease pain and restore normal pain-free function. This means the majority of your treatment will be “hands on”. We don’t just hand out exercise sheets - important though they are!!
We work very closely with all GPs, consultants and podiatrists to ensure complete patient care and management.
Insurance Claims/Referrals
We work closely with GP's, specialists, surgeons and podiatrists, to provide our current and potential new clients with full reassurance with any referrals that are received or need to be sent for further medical investigation/treatment.
We ensure that we maintain a close professional relationship with all local surgeries and hospitals, including other specialists who may be further afield.
If you do already have private health insurance and would like to claim your physiotherapy treatment, all we need is your provider and authorisation number and then we do the rest! We send the invoices directly from Romsey Physio and keep your account up to date in the process.
If you need an emergency appointment suddenly but haven't managed to get authorisation, we can print you off a specific receipt which enables you to claim back from your insurance company so you can get treatment as soon as possible to relieve you of your pain/injury.
If your physiotherapist suggests that you need more treatments to be authorised, our physiotherapists can provide a written medical letter for this request.
